We don’t check for balances live. Let us assume that a small portion of your funds were utilized for a trade. In such a case your order will go through and interest will be charged on the small shortfall amounts. However if your account balance is 0 then the order will be rejected.

Hi, this is end of day 17-Nov-2017. My Kite trading account is not yet debited even after I subscribed for “Bharat 22” on 15-Nov itself.
Please let me know why.

just check ur ledger in q.zerodha.com … there amount would ve got deducted … on kite it not updated perhaps
its showing now as debit.
I applied for Bharat 22 on 17th nov noon 2:30 pm so if there is a over subscription , the application is accepted as first come first basis or pro rata basis?

Please let me know that my order is for BHARAT 22 ETF is confirmed or not. on 17th i have applied for that of 5555 Rs at 2.45pm & i got mail from zerodha team that “our order for the Bharat 22 ETF NFO for Rs. 5555 has been recorded. Any previous order you may have placed will be overriden by this order. You will receive a confirmation email with the exchange order ID once the order is placed successfully on the exchange. Ensure to keep sufficent balance by 17th November 2017. ETF units will be credited to your demat account directly within 5 days of offer closing date.” But my money is not deducted from my Demat acount till now.
