Introducing single ledger facility: trade in equity and commodity (MCX and NSE Commodities) with same funds

Apologies, this is taking time. We’ll have this fixed in a week.

Thankyou so much for the information. Really appreciate it.

Hey @Anshul_bishnoi sorry, I misread. Thought I was answering a query related to charges on Console P&L.

@Ananth @Prayag can check and update you on the progress of allowing margin pledge for commodities.

And how long will that take?

How long will it take to bring usability of equity collateral margin for trading in commodity ? Because of absence of this feature iam not able to trade in commodity from zerodha . Plzz bring this feature as soon as possible this is very urgent thing for commodity traders and also give some timeline and take this thing on your priority list plzz

@TheGouda can I use mutual fund collateral to trade in Commodity for single ledger facilities?

Yes, you can use MF collateral to trade in commodity in single ledger. To know more where can the Collateral funds can be utilized, click on the link.

@ShubhS9 want to understand how margin management works at Trading Member level under Single Ledger facility.

Are the client’s funds split between NSE’s cc, BSE’s cc and MCX’s cc?

Or the funds are deposited with one cc and some kind of a real-time reconciliation happens which enables trading across exchanges?
