@VenuMadhav My pledged holding of Affle india worth over 10lacs plus are missing from console since last few days. I haven’t received any repledging request for these shares yet nor these are credited to my demat. Can you please suggest what might have happened to those shares? Been trying to reach the support team for last few days but no response yet.

Not sure if this related to the new changes, but wanted to know how does the withdrawable amount actually work in Console? Right now, I’ve around 14.6L cash in my account but the Console page is showing a different picture. Similar discrepancy yesterday as well. And I haven’t made that big a loss or anything like that…

for example - i have banking and psu fund - haircut is 7.5% - remaining i can use for trading are ineed to maintain cash like 50:50 Ratio
Similar to other stocks only, after hair cut everything can be used but that much cash also should be there, same 50-50 rule applies.

Maybe it was Console getting updated or something, because the amounts appear to be in sync now. Also yesterday, my account value had dropped by 21 L, which is also fine now.
Will the pledged the shares NEVER be shown on the portfolio holdings of Kite?? I have read somewhere that in the new CDSL system, you will be able to sell your pledged shares but my pledged shares are not even listed in the Kite Holdings page
Can I sell a pledged share without unpledging it?
If yes, then how to sell because it does not show in ‘Holdings’ in Kite.

You will have to unpledge the shares before selling.

Today I pledged some of my holdings, now it is showing “pending qty. for pledge”, so should I wait for email from zerodha, or will it happen automatically, just like it used to happen before?
Your pledged request will be processed at 2:00 PM, after that you will recieve email and SMS from CDSL, you will have to visit the link provided within and verify your pledge request before 7:00 PM.

For now it will take 1 day, in coming days we will allow to unpledge and sell them on same day.
@siva-reddy i have one confusion about SGB - now the SGB bond is open for subscrition , as you mention SGB is cash equivalent . new gold bond is open now , if i invest the new one can i pledge those bond when its credited in my demate account , please clarify my doubt
If and when it is approved for pledging, you will be able to pledge.

You don’t see shares before unpledge so you can’t sell as of now.
I get this error margin pledge set up is not present for input pan no.
If i try to place pledge request again i get error that Pledge Request already placed for the day.
