Migration from old pledge to the new pledge mechanism

Sir i am getting the following error in the process…

Error: System Error, Kindly contact CDSL.

In this case what will happen to my posiitons which are depend on pledged margin, coming monday?

I am also getting same error, tried 4-5 times but still same

@VenuMadhav i am also receiving error while generating otp. please follow up with cdsl and get it resolved asap else we will miss the 7 pm deadline.

When i tried doing the same process, again now getting the following message in red.

" Margin pledge set up is not present for input PAN No.

After how much time we should try?

CDSL page where OTP has to be entered is throwing error
(a) OTP isn’t getting delivered
(b) Post receiving OTP with a delay, and after keying in the OTP, page is throwing an error
('c) If you entered the OTP, authorised the pledge, got an error after which if you tried authorising, you got a message, “No margin pledge setup”, that means your pledge may already be accepted. Zerodha will send an email later this evening around 8.30 - 9.00 to clients whose pledge is accepted. The ones who couldn’t, we’ll setup pledge again tomorrow morning.

These issues are beyond our control. We have reported both issues to CDSL. Their tech team is looking into it. You have time until 8:00 pm to approve the pledge, so please try authorizing after some time.

Did you enter the OTP before? If yes, then looks like your pledge is setup.

Agreed, but cannot entirely blame CDSL here they anticipated a average load, but sudden spike for one time activity of repledging existing shares by different brokers was probably not taken into consideration while designing their system, let’s see will try after sometime.

Not blaming anyone, we’re working on this together - brokers/depositories/exchanges/clearing corporations. We’re all trying to do it by ensuring least inconvenience is caused to the client.

does liquidbees haircut changed from 8% to 10 now ? previously it was 8% only , where can i get new list ?

Even I am getting message “Some error occured for sending OTP”

yes, i have entered the OTP and on submit, it was stuck for some time and got the message like below

" Error: System Error, Kindly contact CDSL."

As per your suggestion, when i tried re-doing, getting the message

“|Margin pledge set up is not present for input PAN No.”

Currently i am not sure, if it is done or not done. Is there a way to confirm ?

We’ll send an email EOD if pledge is confirmed. If it isn’t, we’ll set it up again tomorrow morning.

I tried and faced the same problem as told by others…So will wait and try again… I guess this thing is going down to the wire… :stuck_out_tongue:

I understand @VenuMadhav, appreciate the hardwork put in by your team, but at the same time hope this is not going to cause margin penalty or closure problems for any of zerodha clients.

I have open positions and hope that i will be able to do it before 8 PM…Fingers crossed

Getting This Error for the 3rd time…My Pledge value is more than 2lach…is that the reason as some one mentioned?

We’ll setup pledge even tomorrow and give you time till 8 pm, don’t worry. CCs, Depositories, Exchanges and Brokers are working full time over the weekend :slight_smile:
