A few queries :

  2. Pledged margin from MF UNITS/ SHARES IN DEMAT
    to be used for MTF trades ?

Are the two above mentioned features part of To do list in future? As in the MTF blog it is clearly mentioned, Mtf to delivery conversion is not allowed.

It may sound weird, but I don’t have an iota of trust in CC’s direct settlement. The existing mechanism is far better and I atleast can ask my brokerage to resolve, in case of any clarifications or problems.

The more centralized stuff becomes, the more irresponsible, slow and inefficiencies reek in.

They are planning to launch MTF for everybody in November itself, with the extended list of scrips. Stay put for another 2-3 weeks.

I have tried the beta, looks like a great product. A first step in the right direction.

@james_15 @anupgnair We’ve already enabled MTF for your IDs and sent a Kite notification; please open the order window on the Kite web and check. MTF on the Kite app is coming in a week or so.

Tax p&L for mtf position - will seperately or in conjugation with already having holding -

Order type or product, i.e. MIS/CNC/MTF, doesn’t affect Taxation. FIFO to be applied on demat transactions. You need to filter out intraday transactions, i.e., same-day exits; the rest would be short-term or long-term gains. So, Console Tax P&L will continue to show a combined statement irrespective of the order type.

While Kite Holdings will continue to show the combined holdings buy average, we’ll make provisions in Kite/Console to show an MTF-specific buy average and other information for users.

Will you add below feature in future:

  1. CNC convert to MTF ?
  2. Placing of MTF order through GTT and AMO
  3. Increase in MTF exposure limit from present 50.00 lakhs to unlimited?
  4. Allowing to pledge share as collateral to place MTF trade?
  5. Increase in GTT number of order from presently 250 number per account?
  6. would you decrese rate of MTF in future as in market competitive rate range from 9 - 11% for MTF.

Today used MTF, as @siva you mentioned earlier shares will be auto pledged then why i recieved authentication link ? Is this just temporary untill CC offers direct payout or this is the SOP irrespective of payout methods?

Hey, can you explain the charges debited from the account for additional clarification
Coz pledge charges are debited, MTM is blocked then then comes settlement with NSE with number and a certain amount is debited along with it is that statutory taxes or other charges ?
