Did = kiya, one time.

Agar kiya ho to, bas ek baar kiya hoga. Agar nahi kiya aur jo hua hai, uss ka waja hai to bata dega :face_in_clouds:

Keep a trading journal. You need to be brutally be honest with yourself. For each and every trade, write down:-

  1. Any strong emotions while taking trade.
  2. Any fatigue or distress present(like you had a fight before trading session or woke up with headache because you slept late yesterday night or was working light fever/fatigue to hit goals etc)
  3. Timestamps along with any extra info like news events was there .

I usually recommend writing both good and bad. After a month , read the journal. It really helps being self aware and avoid making same mistakes. It definitely works!

Trading journal hard copy or soft copy, which is better?

Hard copy will be good, and as you are a teacher, writing is not boring for you. If not, soft copy.

I think, we can focus more when we write than when we type. I don’t have a journal, but I sometimes write things that I learn.

Well I usually have a spreadsheet which has details like timestamps, scrip, entry ,exit, + /- pips, risk for the trade, +/- account and in notes I add points to somewhat recollect what happened in moment like “yesterday night fatigue”," distracted by phone while placing order", “woke up with headache due to bad lifestyle” etc. So when I look back I can usually relate and be self aware of what went through at that particular point of time. It brings back situation awareness and helps in correcting mistake.

But if you are really having fears, doubts or anxieties and want to work on that then after you entered position just add few points quickly in your spreadsheet in the notes , add a unique number (something as reference to that trade/position) and at night after market close write everything briefly in a separate journal either online or a diary tag that unique number to that trade or position. So after a month if you catch yourself doing that same thing or going in that same situation psychologically, just reading that journal and looking at that day’s trade and recollecting will really help with being self aware and to make that mindshift.

10k loss recovered. মনের শান্তি আবার ফিরে এলো।

How did you cover the loss? This happened because of your plan?

Today i stricly followed my trading rule and set up.

Loss never recovers, once a money is lost, it is lost, don’t try to project it as recovéred in future, in case you earn. Better you say, you have earned 10k.

Why I’m saying, cause it rules your psychology.

Well congratulations

Thanks for giving psychological help. In future i don’t treat it as loss recorded but earned.

These all are semantics, meaning we are saying same thing but differently, looking at something from different angles, but with same outcome.

Mathematically it is correct, if I start with 1,00,000, and lost 10,000, and if I gain 10,000 later, I again have 1,00,000 (excluding charges), so my loss is recovered. I have neither gained nor lost, I am with the same capital I have started with.

Some time i doubt can i continue my part time trading journey. Because i have zero background on trading and knowledge. There are so many intelligent people on the market. Can a small guy from teaching profession sustain in the market in long run?

Of course.

You know that the knowledge of chemistry that you have did not come in one day, it took years. Like the same, we learn what we need or what we want, it will take time. People who don’t know that it takes time, or don’t like that it takes time leave. Intelligent and big people are not competition to us, we cannot obviously compete with institutions or algorithms, but we can compete with people like ourselves.

Market is like ocean, there are largest animal blue whales, and smallest fish. All coexist and makeup the ecosystem :whale: :blowfish:

I am a small fish, I know this, so I don’t go near the big fish, I play in my own waters. Of course I want to grow and become a big fish

Fantastic explanation. Ocean example is mind blowing. I think you’re a nice logical person. If i ride on a bicycle should not fear big car on the road but at the same should take proper safeguard and find own path. Growing confident very very slowly.

I teach student endothermic and exothermic reaction in brief in first case reactant/system absorb heat from surrounding and in 2nd case reactant/system produce heat. In my experience first phase of trading is endo-money process and final phase is exo-money process. The time taken from reaching phase 1 to phase 2 depends on reactant /trader.:pray::pray::pray::pray::pray::pray:
