Can we hide studies (i.e. volume , OI) from index charts ? there is not any volume or OI data for index. @nithin

Chartiq does not offer a feature to hide indicators. On TradingView, hiding indicators based on segments isn’t straightforward. Also, hiding an indicator will only make the indicator line invisible, it won’t remove the entire indicator panel.

Hello there,

I usually have 100+ open positions (mostly medium term f&o), and I need to monitor the overall P&L of the positions the whole day. Now, in Kite app it is simple as the net position is shown in big font in the top of the positions page.

However, in the kite web, one needs to scroll till the bottom of the positions page to see the net current position. Anytime you move from Funds or Order page back to Positions page, this scrolling has to be repeated. So, will it be possible to show the net current position at the top of the positions page as well, just like in Kite app?

thanks

Hi @nithin
Please consider this.

Hi @emrys11

We’re checking with the team and will get back to you on this.

can we have option to add exit position to basket from position menu, currently we have to add it manualy so i end up checking multiple times to prevent wrong contract being added.

and standing instruction for regular withdrawals, i would like to setup auto withdraw amount on certain date everymonth to pay ecs/emi/bills and such.

also if possible can we have trade padlock next to zerodha logo to block trades. i have cats that love to sit on keyboard, everytime i go afk i had to lock my windows.

I use a tool called KeyFreeze. Good for those with kids
This is logically better than asking Z to implement it as it works for the OS (windows OS)

As an extension to this, some option to add from the watchlist as well (Add to basket) to create positions for entering as well as adjustments. Its really tough to search and add instruments inside the basket with ease

Yep, both coming soon.

“Copy basket” feature is sorely missed in kite mobile app. I can’t make quick analysis of the basket payout before taking the trade due to absence of this feature. Going to kite web everytime just for this is painful. Moreover this should be a very small enhancement for you guys and won’t affect the app performance as well

Please consider this request

Could you please provide me with a screenshot from Kite Web so that I can better understand what specifically you are referring to?

When I want to copy the contents of a basket in a new basket I just export the existing basket to a json file and import it to the new basket, but this export/import is available only on kite web . This feature comes handy when I want to analyze different option strategies with a small change to the existing strategy. For example - say I have one buy put and one buy call option added to basket 1 leading to long straddle. Now in basket 2 I want to to sell an option along with 2 buy options in the existing basket and analyze my risk (payout graph). This is quickly possible in Kite web due to export and import where I can create copy/replica of existing basket and add new trades that I want, but this is not at all possible in the mobile app. If I have to do this in kite mobile app then I explicitly have to add all my trades manually in the new basket and then add the additional ones. This is extremely time consuming and leads to loss of edge when you want to quickly analyze positions. Moreover even better solution than export and import would be to add one more menu item “Copy” to the basket along with “Edit” and “Delete”. Clicking “Copy” should just create a new basket with same contents/positions as the existing basket. Hope I am clear, if not please let me know

A new order type with market protection is sorely needed. And it needs to be customizable.

For example when selling a straddle through a basket, both ce and pe sell can be added with this order type. When this basket will be executed, zerodha will place both legs at ltp+2% limit order. This 2% needs to be customizable to 5% and 10% as well.

But before selling that atm straddle, I buy far otms options for margin benifit. And the biggest help will be in buying far otms. These days I place market order in a hurry and am scared that what if a 1 rs option gets bought at 30 rs. With this new order type, I could create far otm baskets that I would execute right at market open and I would be assured that it won’t get bought at freak price.

Right now I can create the same buy legs with higher limit orders. Like buy at limit 5 when ltp is 1. This will also ensure that I don’t pay more than 5. But i have had order rejections in Sensex citing theoretical price. This happens during market opening. Like yes I placed limit buy at 5 and price is 1 so just give it to me at 1. But no, order gets rejected citing theoretical price. I waste time in fixing the order and pay opportunity cost on the straddle sell that I was supposed to do.

So just give us an order type that places limit orders at 2% or 5% or 10% extra price of LTP.(selected by user) The LTP is to be taken at the time of the order placement and not when it was added to the basket. This will be especially helpful during market openings where we don’t exactly know where options will open and can’t prepare our own limit orders.

I understand the context. The export/import basket order is incorporated for sharing with friends or family members. However, due to its intricate nature, integrating this feature into the app presents a challenge. This appears to be a unique requirement, as it’s the first instance we’ve encountered such feedback. Rest assured, we will thoroughly evaluate the feasibility of this ‘copy basket’ functionality.

Thanks and much appreciated for considering the feasibility of the copy basket feature…

Hey @Arockiya_Raja , is it possible to have a read only thread here where you post the updates and changes on zerodha kite/ console?

Today I opened to see there is a change on the UI on the holdings page and some fonts have changed
Would be helpful to track some of the useful things which I can use as well, otherwise its getting lost since many things keep coming out one after the other
@nithin @Meher_Smaran

Hi @Krishnakumar

This is a nice suggestion. We will create a thread sharing all the updates, big and especially the subtle ones  Thanks once again for this idea

Any news about the console analytics feature? I thought it would come in 2023 itself. When i had complained about equity curve glitch and talked to someone over the phone, he said it would be coming within a few weeks. That was back in September. Pleaaase launch it in beta at least and give us the option of testing it in beta.

Pls launch the trade wise charges report on console. its a pain to write to support team every time this is needed. There are a couple of threads on this topic, where it was mentioned this will be launched ‘soon’. I think this should now be one of your priorities for 2024.
