Before that.
do the responsible folks even understand the concern with wasted space in the UI
that is repeatedly brought-up every few weeks by different users on this forum
for several years now ?

[removing the wasted space on the sides and widening the chart] is extremely handy to…

  • have a large chart with more details / longer timeline visible on-screen.
  • along with the Market-watch and Market-depth widgets on the left > simultaneously.

Atleast, 3 years ago,
it appeared that the responsible folks did not understand the concerns
and spent time explaining unrelated design principles.
Any progress since then on this topic? :thinking:

Or are there additional challenges identified with supporting a wider chart?
(for example, requires more historical data due to a longer timeline visible in the chart, resulting in additional latency to showing the page upon initial load as more chart data needs to stream-in?)

Hi @siva @Meher_Smaran , in TaxP&L, please provide STCG and LTCG before and after 23-07-2024, since ITD is taxing them at different %. On the ITD site too, it is asking us to fill these up separately.

It would be helpful if this is included in TaxP&L before 10th June

I would really appreciate if number of watchlist is increased to 9 from current 7. This has been requested before by other users. With increased volatility &: sector rotation increased number of watchlist would be nice.

Hi @tallerballer, The issue with the next installment display has been fixed for daily SIP. The correct next installment are updated on the Coin web, and this issue on the app will be fixed in the upcoming Coin app release. However, SIP transactions will trigger based on the next installment date, which is accurately updated in both Coin app and web platform.

  1. If i am trading multiple times from same option strike then it shows combined P&L in Posistions tab & on Chart. Can we see individual trade P&L?
  2. and in Verified P&L can you add option for financial year time period?

Nope, there are too many feature requests, we can’t give ETA for everything as we sort everything based on priority list and release accordingly.

  1. Stock Logo in Search & Watchlist
    It would be great if the stock logos could be displayed next to the stock names in the search results and watchlist. It improves the visual appeal, makes it easier to identify companies at a glance, and helps with memory recall. Many users (like me) recognize certain companies more by their logos than their full names.
    2. Push Notifications for Stock Events
    It would be helpful if users could receive push notifications for all major events related to specific stocks—whether they are in the watchlist or currently held in the portfolio. This would allow timely action and better engagement.
    3. AI-generated News Summary Alerts
    Just like Dhan app, having a two-line AI-generated summary for important stock market news sent as a notification would be very useful. This helps users stay updated without having to read full articles.
    4. Dark Mode Logo in iPhone (Coin App)
    On iPhones, the Coin app logo does not adapt to dark mode. Kindly consider updating the app icon to support dark mode so that it blends well with the overall iOS theme.

Not sure if this add any real value, yes it looks good to see though so no plans of doing this.
