SEBI takes action against investment advice passed via SMS/Whatsapp

I guess we are all having to deal with messages being sent asking to invest in a particular stock or guaranteeing returns. SEBI has taken action against one of them by penalizing Rs 10lks. More here on Business line.

If you receive any such message, everyone should complain to TRAI and SEBI.

The link you posted is only for complaining against companies which are already registered with SEBI or even for those companies/ individuals which are not registered with SEBI ?
How to complaint against individuals who are misleading the investors by promoting themselves for selling subscription based calls .
