Hey there
It’s 2026, you are the industry leaders, and I was wondering if you guys will bring TBT data to your platforms and APIs.
A few of your peers are already doing it, and I think this will catch to many others going forward as retail moves to more automation and automated trading platforms are on the rise too.
@nithin
@AryanKB Currently, we do not offer exchange-level tick-by-tick (TBT) data on our platforms or APIs, and there are no immediate plans to introduce this.
The market data available via our APIs (including WebSocket) is streaming in nature and not true TBT. For most retail use cases, this should suffice, and users can capture and store the received ticks on their end if needed.
As also discussed here, true TBT data typically requires direct exchange connectivity (colocation) along with significant infrastructure and cost.
From the outside, it feels like there’s still so much more that could be done. Not because the vision isn’t there, but sometimes it feels like it’s held back by assumptions about what customers need or what’s possible.
We’re not just here for what already exists, we’re excited about what could be coming next. The founders clearly have so much more to offer, and I just hope they’re allowed the space to keep pushing boundaries, without being limited by internal roadblocks or what employees think is possible.
