If the kite tab is open, refreshing should solve the issue. When the main kite tab is closed and the pop-up chart is refreshed, this behaviour appears. If refreshing doesn’t help, along with the kite tab open, please let me know during the issue period, and I’ll arrange a callback for further assistance. You may also create a ticket via the support portal.

Why is AMO order option not visible?

When placed after 4 PM, Regular/MTF orders act as Aftermarket Orders (AMO).
So just place orders normally & it will become AMO (outside market hours)
P.S. : I haven’t tried all order types, so I can’t speak for all of them.

It’s been a month since I requested a very simple feature that is a no-brainer. Even a junior program can implement this, But, to no avail, All we get is a PR team who will give you the same boilerplate response.by now?

I believe you’re referring to the alert feature on ChartIQ charts. A charting version upgrade is currently in progress, along with a revamp of chart interactions on the mobile app and the addition of a few new features. The alert functionality from ChartIQ is likely to take a bit more time, but it’s on our radar.
Groww has launched a trading terminal “915” , is Zerodha working on something similar or planning to launch an advanced trading platform ? If yes, by when can we expect to see it

Guess not yet launched, just announced it will. Anyhow we don’t react on what others are doing as we have our own plans, we see no point of launching another platform but just add more features to current one which we are already doing and will continue to do.
- Can you default this annoying cnc to mis or at least provide a toggle in the settings tab to do it? It ruined my day today. When I was trading rlbBank, my margin became too low. After looking into it, I realized I bought it on CNC. You can skim over this by saying it is not important as it just needs a dropdown change, but it’s not. During market hours there are a lot of variables to pay attention to. The way Zerodha is implementing features is abysmal. Do you guys take a moment to muse on what is going to be effective for a trader?
- Can you make a p&l tab on both PC and mob like this? This looks more comprehensive, and believe me it has more shareability than the status quo.
- in the position tab, the current p&l is not all the tax and brokerage adjusted. Give at least a tickbox beside that. That may help people like me who find Gross profit nauseating. Gross is too gross bruh…

What ever order type is used that would be remembered next time also, if you select mis once till you manually change it to CNC it will remain MIS for all next trades.

It’s not. Have you opened a new scrip in another tab or even the same scrip in a different tab, it’s again defaulted to CNC. comeon, bruh…

Seems a corner case exist from TFC on chartiq it goes default, team is aware of it and is working on it.

@siva A new glitch just started occuring… 
Price is not updated to the recently modified price in the open orders tab. (I have closed the tab and reopened still not rectified in open orders.
Also earlier it was instant but currently if a order is placed/modified it doesn’t get updated in the open orders section (though the no of orders in the Open order () would change to the updated value)

Q: what will happen if I keep the market protection too tight say .25% for option buying for strike of INR 100.
Ans: I will miss the trade, as system takes it as an internal limit order of .25%, Agree.
I will rather miss the trade then missing my money. Trade will come back tomorrow, money will not.
Conclusion: Make it user customizable.
Translation : Give me the best platform, let me decide what I wanna do with it how and when.
