@siva Platforms like DAS Trader, TC2000, and TWS are industry standards abroad, and they’ve become essential tools for serious traders due to their speed, layout flexibility, and tight integration of charts, scanners, and execution.
Even if this represents just 10–15% of your user base, it’s the group that trades heavily and stays loyal to platforms that meet their workflow needs. A lightweight, standalone version of Kite or a premium pro terminal could really differentiate Zerodha in this space.
i hope you guys will think about it and make something like that , BEST OF LUCK
Existing Positions still not visible in my charts. I tried both Firefox and Chrome. No positions displayed. The Buy/Sell buttons too display 0 as value most of time. It will display values only if focus is on that chart, in multi-chart window. I tried private browsing too…Bugs…Client ID messaged…
Moreover the order window when clicked always opens with market as default, instead of limit. The quantity is always 1 ??? Please view the price too…0.05
I’ve been eagerly waiting for the TFC feature from Trading View chart, and now that it’s here, I find it incredibly useful for managing my trades.
Will there be any future upgrades to also show holdings?
When placing Limit order the price shown is 0.05 and its not consistent to all contracts.
On Placing the order by enabling instant buy/ sell - It does not ask for quantity in FnO and just buys/sells 1 lot. What if I want to do more ? I have no idea.
On placing the order the horizontal line on chart shows incorrect PnL and is drawn on wrong level instead of where the purchase was made, I had to navigate to orders tab to check as I was confused. I was not able to get idea where to exit during my scalps.
Please make a detailed youtube video on how to exactly use this feature in detail . There is no clarity whatsoever,… This should be on your priority list please!
how do i set SL and TP on chart through drag and drop ?
P.S. I infact lost my money that I made in order to try this feature out …
Yes.squared off my existing positions at Zerodha. We cannot trade with a bug ridden interface. Planning to withdraw funds and use Fyers, which i was using. I changed to Zerodha due to margin issues with Fyers. Recently they have corrected it. Their interface is far better.
I had already send client ID yesterday itself. No action taken. Poor support by Zerodha…To inform you, I am a developer too. But I know how much time it will take to develop. The changes that you are trying to make in your interface is taking ages which could have been finished within a month. Every other broker has created modern interfaces pretty fast is the proof of it. Bad job Zerodha.
@Priya_Hala They r just fancy interfaces, not much usability imo. Zeroda’s focus on core things is why I still prefer it. Sharing my exp - my fyers acct had short margin penalty once, agent cudn’t justify it. Faced same issue with a MTF position too. I started MTF with fyers b4 zerodha, maybe dey hv improved now… but that’s the way i saw… anywys…
PNL shows the same as on the position page. The line also shows at the same average price as displayed on the position page. If you see a mismatch, please share the screenshot. This cannot be happening.
yes. You can refer to the article for now.
You need to place it separately from the chart. As of now, it cannot be placed with drag-and-drop.
Market Depth, Positions(when one has multiple positions) , Watchlist should be on Right Side… One can’t ride Left Side Drive Vehicles, when one drives on left side of road. Sorry to say this, Zerodha has been lacking this Basic Sense from Day 1
