This is subjective, people who are accustomed to TV they may feel this way, from day 1 we have our watchlists on left side and we never got any requests asking to change it to right, only recently this request started, that too I have seen some very very few on it.
Anyhow once we build Terminalview on kite user can choose which widget they want see at per their wish, then user can set marketwatch on right.
We do have option chain, what you are referring here?
@siva I’m unable to long-press and add a horizontal line on the chart in the Kite app. Not sure if it’s just me or if others are facing the same issue.
I totally agree with you, you point out simplicity of zerodha, that’s why i switch again to zerodha. Whenever i switch to other after some days i felt uncomfortable because too much features. On the other hand i trade only equity swings.
Can you guys please adjust this delete button left or right. Because sometimes by mistake we click on this and script got deleted. Or make a delete confirmation po-pup. @siva@nithin@nithin_kumrr
this can affect usability because Some users are compatible with the current button position.
if it shifts to the extreme left, it may cause difficulties in Buying. on the other hand, if it moves to the extreme right, it might interfere with opening the pop-out chart and accessing fundamentals, technicals and option chain.
@nithin_kumrr I agree with @asifali I experience the same thing. While it’s not technically an issue, I also sometimes accidentally click the delete icon.
@siva@Arockiya_Raja Feature Suggestion & BUG
In Kite Web the Option Chain as a tab is creating lot of issues. It should open as a modal window rather than as a tab. Once you go back to chart after visiting Option Chain Tab, the chart is taking time to load, too slow… BUG
If you are using multi-chart window, once you visit option chain and back to charts the charts will get changed to the chart in which you had focus while visiting options chain tab. Screenshots Below: Normal Multi-Chart Window
@nithin_kumrr@Arockiya_Raja
1.TFC on Saved charts is not working. can’t place order. Doesn’t show tick. TFC malfunctions on Saved charts. i had to reload & draw from scratch. on new chart.
2. Issue with Open position displayed on chart = it shows average price of previous closed position.
i created new position in stock & order executed at 57.99 but on chart position was showing avg price 57.89 bcoz earlier i created position at 57.79.(later i closed it & then open another at 57.99…but TFC taking avg of previous closed position) due to this issue, open position display is useless. TFC should be showing only avg price of current open position.
@Arockiya_Raja@siva
Issue with missing SELL/BUY buttons again on Multi-Chart window. Buttons will only be displayed if we have focus on a particular chart. I tried resetting the charts as single chart and tried again with multi-chart. Same issue???
At present, this is similar to opening a new chart. Eventually, it will replace the pop-up chart, and we will be able to switch to a chart without refresh and reload. This is on our to-do list.
I think you select the second chart, go to the option chain, and come back to the TV chart. The same above method^ change would address this. If the user selects the first chart, goes to the option chain and comes back, they would not see this.
We will see if this is something that can be addressed along with the terminal mode that we have planned.
This should not be happening at all. Could you try it on the incognito window without any extension and let me know.
Could you recheck this today? Other things should be sorted except drawings. In some cases, we are seeing problems with drawings that we are checking with the TradingView team.
Trade From Chart just helps you see orders and positions on the chart that you see on the order book and position page. Whatever you see on the position page will be displayed here. It cannot check only recent trades and display the average price.
Could you share the screenshot to understand it better?
