Vodafone Idea Limited - Rights Issue

Thanks for the quick response @sabkaview

But, i am not clear on the response.

  1. My father can fill the form(and he will sign his signature) and attach his Cheque. In this case will the stock be added to my account ?

2.I can’t sign to renounce my entitlement to his favour. So i am ignoring this option.

At least 1st option is allowed?

(1)even as an applicant you have to sign the form that you are seeking the shares. a cheque can be of anybody ( write caf no ,dpid-client id on back ) but the applicant will be you only unless you renounce it.
(2) based on my personal experience i can say that signature is not verified in rights application either way be it if you are the shareholder applying as self or even when you renounce it.
(3)so take your call if you want to use your fathers cheque to buy shares for you (part A of caf ) or want to renounce in favour of father ( part B ) so that he can apply in part C. all options are open if you are using cheque means non asba.

Thankyou @sabkaview, it helps me to take further action.

If I WERE YOU and sure about applying ! use his cheque and signature on part A of caf.

Those who bought shares on 28th March are not eligible for Rights Issue ?
As I am getting “Record Not Found” error on BigShare.
Also, my friend got Rights only for shares held before 28th, Shares bought on 28th not reflected in his CAF.

100 % eligible for rights if purchased on March 28 . if not received means your broker failed to credit your purchase as per schedule.you have every right to claim .

Thanks. I bought on Zerodha only. And my friend I am referring has also bought on Zerodha.

LAST date to buy WITH RIGHTS WAS 28 MARCH . the share must be credited to your demat on April 02 which was record date . please note that March 30 ,31 were saturday-sunday and April 01 was settlement holiday (not trading holiday ).hence shares should be to your demat on April 02.
if not received rights offer means not credited by broker to demat.

yes same in SBI also it is not showing

Can some one guide me the process of applying for a rights issue is through ASBA using SBI because when i opened it is not showing vodafone idea foa applying

It seems many user faced same issue. Because many people are complaining the same. Looking for some reply from Zerodha Team.

broker received rights offer on your behalf since he failed to deposit your purchased shares as per schedule on record date . since this is case with many investors he got a consolidated rights form say for 25000 shares . now he must request many split forms based on investors entitlement. last date for split form request is 18 April.

Best if you create a ticket here: support.zerodha.com.

But sir SEBI already banned all transactions of Guinness account and me not able to transfer frm Pool to my DP… What should I do???

I have selected ASBA route and posted CAF TO ONE SYNDICATE BANK .IS IT RIGHT

Looks only 2 L you can apply through here … How to apply for more shares if you are eligible for applying for multiple shares . Also do we need to write CAF number here ?

You can apply for more also from here but it is not showing in mine because i am a retail investor therefore it won’t allow me to do more than 2 lakhs, if you are different category then you can go for more.
And yes you have to provide CAF no. there.

Yes I am Also looking for same but no support from icici Direct
