Vodafone Idea Limited - Rights Issue

I am waiting if ICICIDIRECT will provide online for subscribing to Vodafone idea rights issue in a day or two

Can I buy more than eligible share for IDEA? If yes how?

You can apply for additional shares in CAF along with cheque for that amount, subject to allotment

we just need to check the ASBA option in CAF form and provide SCSB deatils in case of physical submission ? we don’t need any separate ABSA form to fill alongwith CAF …rt? Please let me know

I am applying for the Vodafone Idea rights issue using the CAF form that I have received.

In the CAF form, we have to mention the Depository Name and DP ID No.

Now I know my Depository Name is CDSL. Now, according to the Zerodha help article, and CDSL website, DP IDs for CDSL are completely numeric. For Zerodha it is 81600 ( :: Central Depository Services (India) Limited :: ), although Zerodha console shows 12081600.

In the CAF form field for DP ID(image attached), there is space for 8 characters. First two are already filled in as “IN”.

My question is

Q1) Do I write 81600 after this in the blank space?

OR

Q2) Do I strike off the “IN”, and then write the full DP ID as shown in Console i.e 12081600?

Please try and help with this at the earliest. This is the only thing stopping me from applying for the rights issue.

Thanks @tgb, but looks like it’s not even allowing me to apply for more , although I am eligible for more . Looks through online 2 L is the limit for all

@pawang Did You tried inputting more than the limit permitted OR you just saw that it is not showing option for more than 2L and then decided not to go ahead.
Asking because BoB’s FAQ about ASBA says that if you apply for more than 2L than it changes the category automatically and than accepts more than 2L.

OK leave it, just tried myself and yes it does not allow for more than 2L, it throws an exception.
Maybe if go through KOTAK banks FAQ they say you have to fill up a different form for registering for a different category than retail, SO that might be the case with BoB as well that you have to register as a different category investor via different process maybe through branch and then can only apply online for more than 2L

DP ID No. Field is for NSDL Demat Accounts. You need to write your whole CDSL 16 Digit DPID and Client ID in CDSL Raw as highlighted in this image.
i.e. 12081600XXXXXXXX , replace X with your Client ID as shown in Zerodha.

@nab Thanks a ton for the reply!!

Will fill the form as indicated.

@tgb, thank for checking this. Looks filing physical form is only option at this point of time.

Thanks Niraj, but I am also unable to see the option to purchase in my Axis bank Netbanking Portal, is anyone else also face similar issue?

@Shriyash_Jichkar I have already mentioned in one of my earlier comments that Axis Netbanking does not support Rights Issues. Just Equity/Debt IPOs.

Check last question here => https://www.axisbank.com/retail/investment/iposmart/faqs

Best way is to buy by filling the caf ( PART a) ,attaching a cheque and submitting at nearest collection centre . a stamped acknowledgement will be given. You can do so on last date too .
ASBA is on pilot basis for rights issue as per sebi means very very limited reach.
please note that market is closed on April 17, 19 ,20 and 21.

can anybody provide list of nearest collection centres
or the address where the caf along with cheque should be sent

How to filling split form

Hi, I have Trading Account with Zerodha. I can download the duplicate CAF online as i stay away from my permanent residence. I cannot find the ASBA option on Kotak and SBI Banks online ASBA facility. Can someone please guide as to what would be the ideal way to apply. I am confused with so many comments and would be grateful if someone can tag me and explain.
Thanks!

if you are applying yourself only part A of the form need to be filled. split form to be filled if you want to split your total entitlement in few parts so as to sell some apply some . last date for request of split form is 18 APRIL.

Easiest way is to fill part A of form attach a cheque and submit at nearest collection centre or post to big share mumbai . the allotted shares will be credited to your demat .

cheque should be in favor of whom ??
is it to “Vodafone Idea Limited” ?

Hi, For ASBA there is only one branch of the SCSB which is very far from the place I reside. SO can I submit via cheque at any of its nearest branches? Or do I have to go to that branch only?
