I think its mostly students/youngsters who have opened accounts on Groww just like they opened tiktok accounts.

Hence the luring marketing which promotes a TV Library as TradingView Premium Plus Users who join for that leave after they get to know this. VC thinks new customers coming every month wow!!!
And that too for free which users are using to analyse their trades. I have seen some Youtube streams where people use the platform to analyse and use Kite to punch orders 
E.g, “Looser Who Trade” Live on YouTube.
The reason why Zerodha tops the charts!
Zero brokerage is a tough business. The brokers earn mainly from Scalpers. Scalpers are people who pay lacs in brokerage and in return expect a stable and quick order execution. The main revenue for Zerodha comes from scalpers!

all these folks active only because they were trying to close their ghost trades?
It is not always the case, I think the majority of “negative change” is caused by accounts being marked inactive or dormant due to no trade for a period of 12 months.

Inactivity at the top is slowly moving to activity elsewhere 
Those who listen to the customer and build platforms, those who do not curb the customer freedom to trade, those who provide great customer support will naturally progress and those who don’t will wane away.

Did they lose 23% of customers in a month? Quite unbelievable.
They became inactive for a year. May not have closed the account.
yeah still, what causes 1/4 of your customers becoming inactive ??
If we can look at last year’s this same month’s data, there’s a huge addition probably fueled by IPL advertisements.
Tends to fade after a year.

Free trading brokers like these should be banned cause they provide worst ever services among others and interestingly customers assumes he will save brokerage on trading but pays more than brokerage actually due to their execution glitches.
I have closed the account 2 years back. I still get messages from nse.
RKSV SECURITIES INDIA PRIVATE on 04-02-23 reported your Fund bal Rs.0 & Securities bal 0. This excludes your Bank, DP & PMS bal with the broker-NSE
It means it’s still not closed right. I already called them up twice and they said it’s closed. Is there any way we can find out if it’s closed?

If NSE is still sending email u r account is not yet closed is my best guess.

Yes. I know this too. But when I call customer care they says it’s closed.
That’s why I wanted to know if there is any way I can find out and make them close it.
I had one more demat account. When I closed that I got a mail from cdsl. In upstox case I didn’t get any.
