Even we can’t see which alerts are triggered and which are still enabled.
Can you please check it?

Better choose different broker as Zerodha is too late in bringing the features. Recently, SAHI introduced price & candle alerts and they are really awesome, it takes another 2-3 years for Zerodha to implement such features.

Makes sense, we’ll take this up in the next release.

Select all and delete. Fresh start. Haha

I like alerts as only Zerodha gives so many options for alerts that no other broker gives and even ATO. You sound like someone new to the industry.

Use your own platform for marketing.

Zerodha’s ATO feature is great but since the topic here is wrt the price alerts, I referred to SAHI. No need of judging my experience here.

The ATO (Alert Trigger Order) feature also has some serious bugs. The other day, I placed an ATO order for NIFTY, but only the alert was triggered and no order was placed. Thankfully, the order was to enter a trade, not to exit a position; otherwise, I could have been exposed to significant market risk.

I raised a ticket regarding this issue but have not received any response or a reasonable explanation as to why the order didn’t go through.

bumped  zerodha please modify strings for this I’m looking out :eyes:

@Arockiya_Raja

The email alert. Could you change the format? For example, I set a NIFTY alert for <25725. Right now, it shows

  • Title: Kite Alerts - NIFTY 50 triggered
  • Body:
Hello BB789..Your Kite alert was Triggered at 09:26 Tue Nov 4.
Name	NIFTY 50
Status	Triggered
Condition	LastTradedPrice("INDICES:NIFTY 50") < 25725.00
Time	09:26 Tue Nov 4

Now, Most smart phones show the title in the notification. But the data you provide in the title is useless. Even if we expand the notification to show 3 or 4 lines, The actual data I need is hidden after the 5th or 6th line. Please modify title to something more descriptive like the abbreviated condition:

  • Title: LTP("NIFTY 50") < 25725.00 - Kite Alerts

And the body with the most important information( the price data) first.

The alert name is shown in the title. We’ll check if there’s a way to display the condition as well.

@Arockiya_Raja Yes, but if I create the alert from app, the name is automatically chosen as the script name. So, can the name default to condition, after creating the alert? For example, when I create the alert, it defaults to

NIFTY50

Could you change the default “alert name” to

NIFTY50<25500

after I create the alert automatically?

I believe this would also solve the original OP’s issue.

I just rename it let say if I want to create alert for NIFTY > 26000

I just add 26000+ after NIFTY in name field
25500- if nifty goes below 25500

But it is time consuming in live market for option price alerts.

Exactly. The current system is not intuitive.

No, they just have to show price field in notification.
