Shared my thoughts on various assets in collapse-like scenario in a prior thread. ![]()
P.S. Gold is not safe! ![]()
Didn’t realize @nithin thought of it this way. ![]()
It’s reassuring to know he has a good moral compass. ![]()
But that should not deter Z and other MIIs from offering or facilitating leveraged and other interesting (f.e. inverse ETFs) products in the future. ![]()
Uninformed or reckless peeps misusing financial products (credit cards f.e.) should not be a reason to ban or restrict them. This is my libertarian view, but I’m being a hypocrite since I was writing on another thread about why it might be responsible to get rid of weekly options. I guess you need to find a right balance with these things which is easier said than done. ![]()
What I can conclusively say on the topic is to never mis-sell these leveraged/exotic products or push them onto unsuspecting investors - have had this happen to me and my parents from both full service & discount brokerages, NBFCs, and even Big banks. Only Z IME has not yet done this! ![]()
Uninformed peeps (which we all once were) can be nudged and given the free materials to learn. Beyond that it’s not Z’s responsibility to hand-hold their investments or trades.
I believe this perception of contradiction is limited to uninformed peeps. ![]()
Very interesting, you were/are primarily a bond investor? ![]()
