you should submit cheque application only . any bank local payable cheque will do. for ASBA you must have account in same bank if not branch.

not any but designated branches of hdfc ,axis and sbi . it is mentioned on the form or the nearest branch should guide you the collecting branch.

One more doubt… Actually my present and permanent address are different, so I could not receive the CAF form courier. But I downloaded a copy from the bigshare and taken a print on an A4 paper. But the letters and text boxes seem too small to even identify or fill. Is it the same for the physical copy also? or am I doing something wrong?
@psreeya : either to post @big share Mumbai (but you will need demand draft ) or hand over at a collection centre at your place.
no issue about application fonts . you can even make a plain paper application.

Have an account with Axis which is an SCSB. Am applying through ASBA as amount is > 2L.
Is it mandatory to submit at designated branch?
coz the branch near my house provides “DEMAT services for NSDL/CDSL”, so I am guessing they have staff trained in this.
It is also my understanding that the branches collect the ASBA forms and send it to the designated branch themselves. Plus they earn some sort of commission too, so they have incentive.
Is all this true?

I’m a small investor and eligible to purchase 457 number of Rights equity shares.
I want to buy all shares I’m entitled to, so do I have to fill all the forms (PART A, PART B, PART C & PART D) or just PART ‘A’ - FORM OF APPLICATION BY ELIGIBLE EQUITY SHAREHOLDERS ?
Also I plan to give Demand Draft instead of Cheque, will it be fine ?
And final question, where do I submit the said form and the DD for ensuring I’ve completed the process ?

If you want to buy shares fill only and only part A . you can apply additional shares too. collection centres are mentioned in the form itself .i have pasted the link too. collection centre will give stamped acknowledgment.
Demand draft will do and local cheque will also do.

Hi, I have account with SBI Bank and holding shares in Zerodha account. Since my amt is exceeding 2Lakh, have to go through ASBA process.
Am I need to put money in my SBI a/c , mention it in CAF form n submit it to SCCB. Is my understanding is correct? If it’s not, guide me the correct procedure.
